Symptoms are clues—not diagnoses
Flickering lights, dead receptacles, repeated trips, buzzing equipment, or partial power loss can have different causes. A systematic evaluation may include the affected circuit, connections, devices, breakers, panel condition, load behavior, and related equipment. Replacing a visible component without locating the cause can leave the underlying problem unresolved.
Helpful information before service
- When the problem started and whether it is constant or intermittent.
- Which rooms, circuits, appliances, or machines are affected.
- What was operating immediately before the symptom appeared.
- Whether there is heat, odor, sound, discoloration, or water exposure.
- Any recent construction, equipment changes, or previous repair attempts.
Do not remove a panel cover or touch damaged electrical equipment to collect details.
